Branded search
A tightly controlled campaign for people already searching for E.H. Dawson. Measure the incremental value rather than automatically claiming every branded click as a new client.
Small, ring-fenced testI looked at how E.H. Dawson appears when people search for the firm and for legal services around Bexleyheath and Woolwich. You already have organic visibility. The question is where a carefully targeted paid presence could protect it and bring in more privately funded instructions.

In the October search review, E.H. Dawson appeared organically for its own name, while other firms were visible in sponsored placements. Search results change by location, device and auction, but the contrast is worth examining.

The opportunity is not simply to buy more clicks. It is to defend relevant branded searches, then test whether new private immigration instructions can be acquired at a cost that makes sense for the firm.

Not every legal service should compete for the same pound. The starting strategy needs to reflect the firm's services, published fees and the difference between privately funded and legal-aid enquiries.

Small, ring-fenced testPrioritise searches around ILR, spouse and partner applications, citizenship and other relevant private matters. Optimise for qualified enquiries and confirmed instructions, not form fills alone.
Core commercial modelLandlord and tenant or other legal services may become worthwhile, but they need verified private-client values, sufficient demand and clear economics before receiving material budget.
Not included in revenue modelThe figures below are an expected-value illustration, not a revenue forecast. Published fee examples come from E.H. Dawson's website; search volume and conversion rates remain working assumptions. Adjust the business inputs to see how the result changes.
The model caps immigration clicks at the assumed available demand and click share. It cannot create more searches when the media budget rises. It includes £30/month for brand defence without attributing incremental revenue to it. Fractional instructions are annual expected values, not literal completed cases.
Selected examples published by E.H. Dawson. These are legal service fees, not the firm's margins, and exclude applicable Home Office charges.
Published fee for adult British citizenship naturalisation.
Published fee for an indefinite leave to remain application as a spouse or partner.
Published range; actual matter type and delivery costs determine economic value.
We work backwards from profit rather than clicks. The first priority is clean tracking from enquiry to confirmed instruction, so we can stop buying the wrong demand and shift spend toward the services that actually pay back.
The branded-search and local search observations were supplied in the October 2026 prospect research. They are not independently reproduced live here. Published service fees, firm identity and office locations can be checked at the sources below.
The useful question is whether enough private immigration enquiries can be acquired and converted profitably, with the firm's real fee mix, capacity and delivery costs factored in.
